Life could be worse for my family and me. We had a pretty good year in Kirkland, WA. No regrets after moving here from San Francisco except missing the friends we left behind. We made new friends here, Marion created her own business, “La Batisse”, check it out:

Besides I created my theatre company, “La compagnie du Puget Sound” and we’re preparing a french play for 2017.

All is well, we finally got our green cards, happy life then… Trump got elected.

Then Trump picked the members of his cabinet… sigh and worry.

And yesterday he got confirmed by the Electoral college. A weird construction. To a frenchy like me, it’s as if the Senate in France (assembly elected by the parliamentary) was voting for the president! Personnaly, I prefer direct democracy, proportional representation.

After the terrorists attacks, the great artists deaths, the rise of more wars and dead civilians by the hundred thousands, it can be hard to keep the faith in life and stay optimist.

Now it’s time, as it always should, to peacefully fight to make America more progressive and not let it go back to the dark ages.

Happy holidays and keep up the fight for everyone’s rights!
